United we Stand, Divided we ‘DIE’

So now we will have a brand new bridge at the Elphinstone road station, yeah it took 23 lives, more importantly, their videos and pictures of dying like insects for the bureaucracy and ministers to wake up. We made a hue and cry about this one incidence but people forget that every day these locals take an average of 9 lives; unfortunately, we don’t have videos of these individual deaths to share on Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp. This has become a routine now; you need to die to get basic facilities in this country. You need to die in a pothole to get a road repaired, you need to die in a drainage manhole so that all manholes are properly covered, you need to die in a building crash to get the dilapidated building reconstructed,  even our newborn babies need to die to get their oxygen supply and the worst affected are farmers who are killing themselves for a small amount of loan.
